RollUp^TM

RollUp is a simple DOS program used to run a closed caption encoder and make roll-up captions.

If you have an ordinary ASCII transcript (typically it's one with a TXT extent) RollUp will format it into captions and let you hand trigger the captions at will.

This is a simple, rugged little program which will run on even the cheapest DOS computer with a serial port. Folks have used it to caption speeches, plays, home video, and even to temporarily add captions to performances of historic or educational videos.

Because the command line box and DOS modes in some versions of Windows® 95 and all of Windows® NT, 2000, and XP are not compatible with DOS, you may need to boot your computer with a DOS 6.22 diskette to use RollUp.
